Prepare Cold Brew
- In a cold brew coffee maker, combine the coarse ground coffee and cold water. Stir gently to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated.
- Cover and let steep in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours.
- After steeping, strain the coffee using a fine mesh sieve or the cold brew maker's filter.
Make Vanilla Syrup
- In a saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let cool.
Serve
- In a glass, add ice and pour in the cold brew coffee to fill halfway.
- Add vanilla syrup to taste and top with milk or cream if desired. Stir well and enjoy!
