Ingredients
  

Burger Patties
  • 1 pound Ground Turkey Lean ground turkey is preferred.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For grilling.
Toppings
  • 4 slices Cheddar Cheese Optional.
  • 4 buns Burger Buns Whole grain or regular.
  • 1 cup Lettuce Shredded.
  • 1 tomato Tomato Sliced.
  • 1/2 cup Pickles Sliced.
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup Optional.
  • 1/4 cup Mustard Optional.

Method
 

Prepare the Patties
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
Grill the Burgers
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and brush with olive oil.
  2. Place the patties on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Assemble the Burgers
  1. Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Place the cooked turkey patties on the bottom half of each bun.
  3. Top with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard as desired.
  4. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
