Prepare the Patties
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
Grill the Burgers
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and brush with olive oil.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Assemble the Burgers
- Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Place the cooked turkey patties on the bottom half of each bun.
- Top with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard as desired.
- Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
