Ingredients
  

Cake
  • 1 box yellow cake mix or white cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
Milk Mixture
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
Topping
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
Soak the Cake
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk.
  2. Once the cake is cooled, poke holes all over the top using a fork or skewer.
  3. Pour the milk mixture evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak in.
  4. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Prepare the Topping
  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  2. Spread the whipped cream over the top of the soaked cake.
  3. Optional: Garnish with fresh fruit or chocolate shavings.

Notes
