Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
Mixing
  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Incorporate the dry ingredients gradually into the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  5. Fold in fresh strawberries gently using a spatula.
Baking
  1. Divide the batter equally between prepared pans, smoothing the top.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Frosting
  1. Let the cakes cool completely before frosting.
  2. Prepare the frosting by mixing butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
