Ingredients
  

Sandwich Components
  • 8 slices whole grain bread
  • 12 oz smoked turkey breast sliced
  • 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup leafy greens such as spinach or arugula
  • 1 medium tomato sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise optional
  • 1 tbsp mustard optional

Method
 

Assembling the Sandwich
  1. Lay out 4 slices of whole grain bread on a clean cutting board.
  2. Spread mayonnaise and mustard on each slice of bread, if using.
  3. Layer the smoked turkey breast evenly over 4 slices of bread.
  4. Add a slice of sharp cheddar cheese on top of the turkey.
  5. Top with leafy greens and sliced tomatoes.
  6. Finish with the remaining slices of bread to complete the sandwiches.
  7. Cut each sandwich in half and serve on a plate.
