Ingredients
  

For the Miso Glaze
  • 3 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
For the Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon skin-on or skinless
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for brushing
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted

Method
 

Prepare the Miso Glaze
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the miso paste, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until smooth.
Prepare the Salmon
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillets on it.
  3. Brush the salmon with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
Glaze and Bake
  1. Spread the miso glaze evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a teaspoon of sriracha to the miso glaze.
