Matcha Latte Base
  • 4 teaspoons matcha powder high quality
  • 4 cups milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 4 tablespoons honey or sweetener to taste
  • 1 cup water hot, not boiling

Method
 

Prepare Matcha
  1. In a bowl, sift the matcha powder to remove any clumps.
  2. Add hot water to the matcha powder and whisk until smooth and frothy.
Combine Ingredients
  1. In a separate saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm, but not boiling.
  2. Add honey or sweetener to the warm milk and stir until dissolved.
  3. Using a milk frother, froth the milk until it reaches your desired consistency.
Serve
  1. Pour the frothed milk into a mug, then add the prepared matcha mixture.
  2. Gently stir to combine and enjoy your matcha latte.
