Frosting Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar sifted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Frosting
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer until creamy.
  2. Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar, mixing until well combined.
  3. Add the fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract, and continue to mix until the frosting is light and fluffy.
  4. If the frosting is too thick, add a little more lemon juice to reach the desired consistency.
