Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all your spices: chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, and salt.
  2. In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon each of chili powder and cumin, along with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and onion powder. Add ½ teaspoon of paprika and oregano.
  3. Using a whisk or fork, mix the spices thoroughly until they are evenly combined.
  4. Transfer your seasoning mix into an airtight container or spice jar and label it with the date.
  5. When cooking, sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of your homemade taco seasoning over meat or veggies as they sauté.
