Ingredients
  

Baklava
  • 1 package phyllo pastry thawed
  • 2 cups walnuts chopped
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Greek Yogurt with Honey
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Method
 

Baklava Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped walnuts, cinnamon, and sugar.
  3. Layer phyllo pastry in a greased baking dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
  4. Spread the walnut mixture over the phyllo layers.
  5. Continue layering phyllo and walnut mixture until all ingredients are used.
  6. Cut the baklava into diamond shapes and pour remaining melted butter over the top.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. In a saucepan, combine honey, water, and vanilla. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
  9. Pour the syrup over the baklava once it is out of the oven. Let it cool before serving.
Greek Yogurt with Honey Preparation
  1. In a serving bowl, add Greek yogurt.
  2. Drizzle honey over the yogurt.
  3. Sprinkle chopped walnuts and cinnamon on top.
  4. Serve immediately.
