Baklava Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped walnuts, cinnamon, and sugar.
- Layer phyllo pastry in a greased baking dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
- Spread the walnut mixture over the phyllo layers.
- Continue layering phyllo and walnut mixture until all ingredients are used.
- Cut the baklava into diamond shapes and pour remaining melted butter over the top.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, water, and vanilla. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Pour the syrup over the baklava once it is out of the oven. Let it cool before serving.
Greek Yogurt with Honey Preparation
- In a serving bowl, add Greek yogurt.
- Drizzle honey over the yogurt.
- Sprinkle chopped walnuts and cinnamon on top.
- Serve immediately.
