Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound Chicken breast sliced into strips
  • 1 pound Skirt steak sliced into strips
Vegetables
  • 1 medium Bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium Onion sliced
Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
Tortillas
  • 8 small Flour tortillas
Toppings
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup Guacamole
  • 1 cup Salsa

Method
 

Marinate the Meat
  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the sliced chicken and steak, and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cook the Meat
  1. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated meat for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
Sauté the Vegetables
  1. In the same skillet, add the sliced bell pepper and onion. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they are tender.
Assemble the Fajitas
  1. Warm the tortillas on the grill or in a skillet. Serve the grilled meat and sautéed vegetables in the tortillas, topped with sour cream, cheese, guacamole, and salsa.
