Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the donut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix the applesauce, beaten egg, and peanut butter until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
