Ingredients
  

Chicken Salad Base
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded use rotisserie chicken for convenience
  • 1 cup dill pickles, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced for crunch
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped optional
  • 1 cup mayonnaise adjust to taste
Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon dill weed fresh or dried
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced dill pickles, diced celery, and chopped red onion.
Mix the Salad
  1. Add the mayonnaise, dill weed, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
Serve
  1. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve the chicken salad on a bed of greens, in a sandwich, or with crackers.
