Ingredients
  

Salad Ingredients
  • 1 large daikon radish peeled and julienned
  • 1 medium carrot peeled and julienned
  • 1 cup cucumber sliced thin
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted
Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup for vegan option

Method
 

Prepare the Vegetables
  1. Julienne the daikon radish and carrot, and slice the cucumber thinly.
  2. Place the prepared vegetables in a mixing bowl.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and honey until well combined.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss to combine.
  2. Garnish with chopped cilantro and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
