Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream and heavy cream.
  2. Whisk together until smooth and well blended.
Add Flavor
  1. Stir in lime juice and salt.
  2. If using, add minced garlic and chopped cilantro, mixing well.
Serve
  1. Transfer the crema to a serving bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.
