Prepare the Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, combine corn kernels, flour, egg, milk, chopped basil, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and green onions. Mix until well combined.
Fry the Fritters
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and carefully drop it into the hot oil. Flatten slightly with a spatula.
- Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
