Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
Add-ins
  • 2 cups chocolate chips semi-sweet

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Bake the Cookies
  1. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
