Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless chicken breasts pounded to even thickness
Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 slices bread your choice (e.g., whole grain, sourdough)
  • 1 cup lettuce washed and dried
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or preferred sauce

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Grill the Chicken
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and juices run clear.
Assemble the Sandwich
  1. Toast the bread slices on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden. Spread mayonnaise on each slice, then layer with lettuce, grilled chicken, and tomato slices. Top with another slice of bread.
Serve
  1. Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately with your choice of side.
