Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Biscuit Topping
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add carrots and celery, sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in shredded chicken, peas, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer the filling to a baking dish.
Make the Biscuit Topping
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in milk until just combined.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough over the chicken filling.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
