- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped jalapenos. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Form the cheese mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Roll each ball in the flour mixture, then dip in beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the cheese balls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
