Ingredients
  

Cheese Mixture
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 medium jalapenos finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
Breading
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup bread crumbs for coating
Frying
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Prepare the Cheese Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped jalapenos, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
Form the Balls
  1. Using your hands, form the cheese mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
Bread the Balls
  1. Dredge each cheese ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with bread crumbs. Ensure they are fully covered.
Fry the Balls
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the cheese balls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve
  1. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
