Ingredients
  

Pork
  • 3 pounds pork shoulder cut into large chunks
Spices
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Aromatics
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 oranges orange juiced
  • 1 lime lime juiced
Liquid
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Method
 

Prepare the Pork
  1. Season the pork shoulder chunks with cumin, chili powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Place the seasoned pork in the crockpot. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, orange juice, lime juice, and chicken broth.
Cook
  1. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
Shred and Serve
  1. Remove the pork from the crockpot and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded pork to the crockpot and mix with the juices.
  2. Serve in tacos, burritos, or over rice.
