Method
Prepare the Crust
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust.
Prepare the Filling
- In a separate bowl, toss the diced apples with granulated sugar and lemon juice.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly over the crust in the baking pan.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the apples.
Add Topping and Bake
- Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the caramel and apples.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
