Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 pieces burger buns toasted
  • 1 cup coleslaw optional topping
  • 1/4 cup pickles sliced, optional

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken breasts.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  3. During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the BBQ sauce over the chicken to glaze.
Assemble the Sandwich
  1. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  2. Slice the grilled chicken and place it on the bottom half of each toasted burger bun.
  3. Top with additional BBQ sauce, coleslaw, and pickles if desired. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve.
