Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fruits
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries or frozen

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
Baking
  1. Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  2. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
