  • 2 medium ripe avocados peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro fresh, chopped (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine the avocados, sour cream, lime juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. If desired, stir in chopped cilantro.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
